Her joy at his reaction is clear to see. She clasps her hands together, grinning brightly and pleased beyond words to see him set it up on his desk straight away. As soon as she saw it, she had thought of Felix and all the hard work he would be doing. The design just seemed to suit him somehow in its elegance, and the price had been right as well.
"That's good. Now I don't have to crudely carve 'from Ellana' into it," she jokes.
He chuckles a bit at the joke. "I doubt I would mind that too much," he says. Seeing her name doesn't seem like the sort of thing he'll ever mind. "Thank you."
Then, after a moment, "Now I need to figure out what kind of gift I can get you."
"This is the perfect gift," she replies, gesturing towards him. "Your thanks. I wanted to get you something useful, but something you'd like too. I don't need any material things in return."
"You don't, I know, but I'll still put some thought into it and surprise you one of these days, just you wait and see," he replies. Then, after a moment he closes the distance and kisses her lightly.

"Thank you," he says again when he pulls away.
